Dieses Album ist ein Teil des diskographischen Projekts, das Giulio Cesare seit einigen Jahren im alten Gewölbekeller des Palazzo di Scoto di Semifonte in Certaldo Alto (bei Florenz) verwirklicht.
Das Musikprogramm ist sehr originell, der Klang der Instrumente Tenorsaxophon und Sopransaxophon, Flöte und Flutax /Gitarre passen perfekt zur Akustik des Ortes und kommen dank der Natural-Sound-Aufnahme, für die Giulio Cesare Ricci die legendären Neumann-Mikrofone verwendet hat, zur Geltung.
Um die faszinierende Akustik dieses Ortes zur Geltung kommen zu lassen, hat er das Signoricci-System verwendet, das vollständig analog und röhrenbasiert ist, Keine Bearbeitung. Alle Titel werden so wiedergegeben, wie sie gespielt wurden
