Inside the cable, a large number of these clips form a supporting structure that keeps the signal conductors suspended freely in air in a helical arrangement and guides them through the high-density shielding at a precisely defined distance. The flexibility of this construction is achieved through two support rails that not only hold the clips together but also maintain the exact spacing between them.
