Product information "One Of These Nights, Part 1 [Original Analog Master Edition]"
Right from the start, Al Di Meola brilliantly displays his amazing guitar skills and appreciation of gorgeous melodies. Utilizing concentration and devotion to his craft rather than simply performing routines make this performance an extraordinary experience. His masterful skills combined with feelings of emotion create a spectrum of musical ideas. Al Di Meola assembled a thoroughly excellent group of musicians for this review of his career spanning almost three decades. It is a fantastic combination of romantic chamber music, traditional Latin American music and the freedom of jazz, constantly switching between off-the-cuff improvisation and intricate musical arrangements. Time and time again the musicians alter familiar music with surprising rhythmic changes to construct a marvelous soundscape. A truly magical concert.

"Der Gitarrist Al Di Meola ist ein Meister der Fingerfertigkeit. Und der Sounds. Und der Melodien. Und der Rhythmen. Der klare, detailreiche Mitschnitt eines Konzerts im Ludwigsburger Scala am 17. Mai 2004 entführt innerhalb von 96 Minuten in eine grandiose musikalische Klangwelt jenseits der üblichen Genregrenzen." Werner Stiefele | Audio Stereoplay

"I wanted to take notes for this review on first listen but then got caught up in this expansive sound experience and just listened. These are the magical moments I love when listening to music. Fortunately, you can rewind the tape and listen to it again and again [...] Christoph Stickel has done an excellent job of reworking the original material for the master tape copy. The imaging, transparency, precision and simultaneous unity of sound are incomparably good." Claus Müller | audiotapereview.com
