Anne Wylie was born in Dublin and spent her childhood and youth in the cultural heart of Ireland. The roots of her artistic identity can be found there. There are deep, solid roots from which that self-confident, proud culture has grown, in which folk music has always remained folk music. With the CD "One and Two" the singer Anne Wylie and her world musicians have succeeded in developing a new synthesis of Celtic past and cosmopolitan modernity. So Anne Wylie begins where many folk musicians leave off. Florian King (bouzouki) and Henrik Mumm (bass) provide the impetus.
