The future is digital – fast, sharp and flexible. DVI is an interface for digitally transferring video data. Extremely high data rates (9 gigabytes) need to be transferred smoothly. Many digital devices are equipped with connections for DVI cables. In the home entertainment branch, there are televisions or projectors which can process signals from digital sources, such as PCs (depending on video card) or DVD players, via a DVI input. The right cable is crucial when a digital transmission meets a digital receiver.
