"Wohnen nach Wunsch" ("Living the Dream") is a lifestyle magazine broadcast on VOX, in which the renovation of a room or an entire house is shown. The show airing on 24/08/08 included a feature about the installation of the AmbienTone sound wall. Our product developer Holger Wachsmann was the expert consultant who stood by the hosts with words and deeds.

AmbienTone No.2 installation kits blend invisibly in panel materials, e.g. medium densitiy fiber boards (MDF), wood plates or chipboards. In this case the panel materials, e.g. parts of wall or ceiling panellings are belaboured in a specified way, so that the AmbienTone No.2 speaker can be assembled on the rear side of the panel materials whereas the front acts as the membrane of the flat-panel loudspeaker.

Problem: In many cases the fact, that all he connecting cables between the source and the TV are open and freely positioned, almost forces the user to place his LED/Plasma screen on some kind of TV-rack or shelf or sideboard. One of the advantages of a slim Flat Screen, namely to save space, is therefore lost.

In 2008 also in-akustik presented their products at the "High End 2008" in Atrium 3, second floor room D-102. Visitors were surprised by an excellent 5.1 demonstration of the new AmbienTone flat wallpanels in a "living room ambiente".

light&building - International Trade Fair for Architecture and Technology - was held at an almost fully booked out Exhibition Centre (230,000 square metres (gross)) in Frankfurt am Main from 6 to 11 April 2008. In 18 exhibition halls, over 2,100 exhibitors, including all national and international market leaders, showed innovations and numerous energy-efficient systems from the interrelated fields of lighting, electrical engineering and house and building automation.
